Order picking is probably the most labour intensive function in warehouses and distribution centers. The challenge is to find the right tools to increase accuracy and improve picking productivity, and also reduce labour costs.

More than just a picking process
Trisoft's system records orders on your system and relays them to the warehouse computer, where they can be picked in sequence or prioritised according to customer demand.
Single or multiple orders are transmitted to hand held terminals which instruct the operatives which locations to go to, which products to pick and how many. Scanning barcodes as they go, the systems checks that the right product and quantity are being selected. If the bin is empty, the operative is told on screen how many are in stock so they know if they can locate them elsewhere.
Once picking is completed, the hand held is docked, despatch documentation is printed and the back office system is updated.
