TheatreMan meets the needs of hospitals countrywide.
Trisoft, a leading healthcare software provider, can announce the successful implementation of its hospital theatre and day surgery management system; TheatreMan, across the National Health Service sector in many leading acute hospitals.
TheatreMan is a highly specialised system developed by Trisoft over many years to specifically meet the requirements of the NHS.
The system is able to integrate with the NHS Connecting for Health programme and is installed in more NHS hospitals than any equivalent system supplied by regionally focussed Local Service Providers as part of this programme.
TheatreMan is a flexible application using the latest technologies and leverages over 20 years experience that Trisoft has in this field. The system includes:

- Clinical and anaesthetic audit
- Patient pre-assessment and emergency booking
- Bed booking
- Browser based module for scheduling, patient tracking and enquiries
Sue Edwards from Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone London has been using Trisoft's TheatreMan system for nearly two years. She says:
"During the implementation of the TheatreMan software we had some problems of different complexities, however these were resolved by working closely with the Trisoft team and we now find the system easy to use and a great asset.
"TheatreMan is useful for a number of reasons, as a patient monitoring tool, capturing extra patient information, producing weekly reports and easing the day to day management of our theatres. The system also allows visiting consultants to view files on a read only capacity.
"We receive regular updates from Trisoft and are now expanding the use of it to our Admissions Office and Infection Control Team.
"The use of this system does not affect patient confidentiality, which is paramount to us, all the files are password protected and can only be used by authorised personnel. The system drives efficiency and allows us to deal with patients in more effective and efficient manner.
"If all hospitals used this system it would cut down on staff training when personnel move hospitals and may eventually enable us to develop a country wide operating management system."
