Trisoft and The A-T Appeal.
Trisoft has linked with the charity The A-T Appeal in order to try to raise funds for this little known charity.
A-T Ataxia-Telangiectasia is a genetic condition which first shows itself in children at the toddler stage.
A-T progressively destroys part of the cerebellum (the motor control area of the brain), leading to lack of balance and poor co-ordination. A-T also weakens the immune system, as well as greatly increasing the risk of leukaemia and lymphoma in its young victims.
Trisoft first got involved with the A-T appeal when Chris Parr, a Trisoft employee decided to raise money with his friend Tim Watkins by running the New York marathon.
Tim's sister has A-T which is why this little known appeal is so close to Chris and Tim's heart.
